Sometimes admins may give you a warning based on their interpretation of our community rules and expectations, and may work to quickly end a conversation you thought was okay. Their objective is to keep our community friendly, civil, and welcoming, so trust that that is their intention when they do step in, regardless of their personal perspective. Even if you felt everything was fine before they stepped in, we ask that you trust their judgement. Community spaces are intended to provide a venue for dialogue that fits the implied topics (i.e. don't dwell on your cat's litter box habits in #general!) in ways that meet our community rules and guidelines. If you see any activity that breaks these rules, let an admin know and they will address it if they are not already working to do so. If you're asked to move on or given a warning, please don't panic, but also don't publicly contest. Their objective is to end a problematic conversation trend, not to publicly call you out. Follow their guidance and there's nothing to worry about. If, however, you do violate our community rules despite warnings, you are at risk of being banned, so do bear this in mind.
